"The most beautiful thing a potter produces... is the potter." ~ Matthew Fox
Working with clay is grounding, centering and therapeutic. It builds self-esteem, allowing participants to see results quickly and feel good about making something with their hands. It is fun! It brings people together on a different level spiritually - a hands-on, side-by-side fellowship while learning how to be the creators God imagined us to be.

Laura is originally from south Louisiana but has called the DFW area home since 1997.
Her educational background includes a Master of Education in Counseling from Southeastern LA Univ. and a Master of Theological Studies from Brite Divinity School at TCU in Fort Worth.
Laura is a member of First United Methodist Church in Fort Worth and has been on the staff of several UM churches in the DFW area and Centenary College, a UM Liberal Arts College in Shreveport, LA. She has worked in several areas of ministry including missions, singles, youth, young adults and children.
Laura created the Potter's Heart in 2008 so she could share with others her passion for working with clay.
When Laura is not playing in the mud she enjoys being with family and friends, traveling, and exploring nature!
